This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. Since 1960, the Florida Sportswriters Association and the FSHOF Board of Directors have inducted some of the most famous athletes, coaches, and media that either were born and raised in Florida, or successfully fulfilled their careers here in our state.
For the first time the 2011 Florida State Fair will be hosting our 50th Anniversary Enshrinement. This will take place on Wednesday February 16th. Also, the Florida Sports Hall of Fame will be housed in a special building that will serve as a "Legends Showcase" during the entire length of the Fair which is from Thursday February 10th until Monday February 21st.
